Jungle Strike sends its helicopter crew through campaigns where shooting is only part of completing the assignment. Mission maps identify installations, hostages, supplies, and other objectives, making reconnaissance useful before the first rocket is fired. Machine guns, rockets, and heavier missiles share the workload, with ammunition limits encouraging you to match the weapon to the target.

Fuel drains during flight, and armor records the cost of exposing the craft to enemy fire. Rescuing people and returning them to safety gives the campaign a practical rhythm beyond destroying everything on the map. Other vehicles alter some missions, but the central pleasure remains planning a route that brings the crew home with its objectives completed.
