Clone Wars drops you into an icy fight before the usual opening ceremony, establishing an unusually abrupt rhythm for its mutant campaign. The Phalanx threaten Earth, and a varied roster gives you several ways to handle their defenses. Claws, ranged energy, acrobatic movement, and teleportation do not feel like cosmetic changes to one fighter; they alter how you read platforms and enemy spacing.
Later selections let you experiment after the surprise introduction, and another familiar figure eventually broadens the company. The stages reward learning a chosen character's reach while remaining ready for their particular limitations. It feels like directing different specialists through the same increasingly hostile operation.
