The Leader and his allies stand between Hulk and another chance to stop a dangerous plan, sending the green giant through fortified interiors and enemy-controlled machinery. Punches, throws, and other physical attacks make ordinary opponents feel appropriately small, but platforms and hazards still require a measured route.
Hulk's human identity also matters: Bruce Banner can enter spaces the larger body cannot, trading strength for access and vulnerability. Health therefore influences more than the distance to a game-over screen. The contrast gives the adventure its particular character. You may dominate one encounter, then find yourself carefully negotiating a passage where smashing everything is no longer an adequate solution.
